I have a headset, with two jacks, one goes to the headphones, the other is a microphone. On my speakers, I have a headphone socket and a soclet with a musical note symbol above it. I can connect the headphones to the socket, but the microphone does not go into the socket with the musical note. Where does the mic go? (There is no microphone socket on the speakers)
There is two ports on the front of my computer, but they dont seem to work.

There can't be a microphone socket on the speakers TBH
![]() Mic goes to the pink socket at the rear side of your PC (there must be a group of 5-6 coloured mini-jacks, just like the one on the speakers).

Open sound control panel and check if microphone is not muted
Turn it on if necessary and start recording.
