Tomb Raider Gets a Release Date

I'll update the thread with proof when I can.

I have a friend who works at GameStop and if you ask, the manager will show you a list of upcoming games and things of that nature. Tomb Raider was on the list for 13 December 2011. I told him it was hard to believe, but he showed me the email from the leading GameStop company confirming it with a source from Square Enix themselves.

I asked for a copy of the email for the forums, but I was declined. However, I do have the list of upcoming games that I can scan and show if anyone's interested.

But it's pretty official, Tomb Raider will be released 13 December 2011.

EDIT: I'll understand if anyone finds this unbelievable, so I'll do my best to get further information that might give a little more evidence toward this.

If this info is true I hope they know what they are doing. They need to start campaign, show trailer, gameplay and somehow convince customer to buy it instead of Uncharted

Uncharted is also "the must have game of 2011"

I'm not worry about promotion of TR9 - new Assassins's Creed has just been announced and will be release in November 2011. So there is still time

I hope December 2011 will be official date xD

Underworld was released final 2008,the Reboot started on the works more or less that date and the releace date is true so the game was in devolopment for 3 years,time enough to make a true masterpiece so that may be possible to be the official date
