The mass relays were destroyed, the alien fleets are all stuck on Earth now (if the system didn't go boom due to the mass relay explosion) and Normandy is stranded on some weird planet no one knows about. That's the end of the Mass Effect universe as we know it, and I hate it.

Yes, I agree, it sucks. But what I'm thinking about is if Bioware doesn't change the ending, the 'Green' ending is the most fitting out them all. I'm trying to make something good out of a bad situation :3

Fitting for what? Going on with the series and deliberately ignoring what players have done? I don't want the series to go on, no Mass Effect 4. I wouldn't mind a spin-off, but that would have to be prequel. I don't want BioWare retconning my canon.

Oh Goodness Gratuitous NO! I hope that it won't be a prequel. I am seriously sick and tired of all these prequels.

I think it would be rather interesting to play The First Contact War, or the Rachni Wars, or anything NOT related to Shepard.
EDIT: Aaand more great articles on Forbes: http://www.forbes.com/sites/erikkain...r-entitlement/ http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertco...good-business/ (This one if for MangelinaJolie )

I didn't get to play the game yet, but I'm a bit curious about the end. I don't want any specific, spoilerific details, but is the ending bad like someone important dies or is it more bitter-sweet like the evil is vanquished but not totally we have to rebuild our world from the ashes etc?
It's killing me that there's all this controversy around it and I didn't even get my hands on the game yet. >.< |

The ending is bad because it doesn't fit the Mass Effect universe, it limits you to three choices that are almost all the same with just a few details changed, your choices and efforts throughout ME3 hardly matter and you have absolutelly no idea what happens after the ending. It's all a huge blank.
