Talking The Lost Artifact Awards!

As many of you know, I've been doing Awards threads for the entire TR series throughout the year. After getting The Lost Artifact a few weeks ago, I thought it might also be a great idea to do an Awards thread for it. Considering that this is a game using the same engine as TR3, some of the categories from that game are not in this one, like "Best Music Track" and "Best Weapon." Also, seeing as there is only one vehicle, one boss battle, no cutscenes, and no real "sections," these categories are also not here.

Please do not give more than one answer. This makes it harder for me to pick which one you like more, as you can't give more than one vote for each category.

Try to answer all of them... even if you love every level of the game, for the "worst" ones, answer with the one you liked the least. It makes the results more... "well-rounded" if you answer every category.

Here are the other Awards threads:

Tomb Raider + New Additions
Tomb Raider 2 + New Additions
Tomb Raider 3 + New Additions
The Last Revelation
Chronicles
The Angel of Darkness
Legend
Anniversary
Underworld

Thanks to everyone who participates!

Best Level

Your favorite level of the game. Here is the list:

1. Highland Fling
2. Willard's Lair
3. Shakespeare Cliff
4. Sleeping With the Fishes
5. It's a Madhouse!
6. Reunion

Worst Level

Exact same nominations as Best Level, only the level that's your least favorite in the game.

Toughest Level

Exact same nominations as Best Level, only the level that you think is the toughest in the game.

Best Room

Any one room, or area (it can be outdoors) of the game that you really liked. Try not to make it a chain or series of rooms - contain it to one special room. Entire levels also don't count for a "room."

Best Trap

Try to make this a specific trap, rather than a general one. For example, instead of saying "boulders," you may say "the boulder room of Willard's Lair."

Best Puzzle

A puzzle can be any sort of objective that you have to work out how to reach it. Perhaps it's finding a key, or doing something really huge that changes the level... really, any objective that you have to work at to get. If that makes any sense.

Best Loading Screen

Heck, why not? This one is simply your favorite loading screen from the game - there are 6 of them, one for each level, so the nominees are the same as Best Level.

Best Enemy

A list I compiled of every enemy in TRLA (Sophia is included here, since she's the only boss battle in the game and I can't make a separate category for bosses).

- German Shepherd
- Castle guard
- Crow
- Highlander
- Sniper
- Chunnel worker
- Rat
- Pterodactyl
- Scuba diver
- Mutated fish
- White tiger
- Monkey
- Aviary bird
- Piranha
- Mutated lizard
- Heartless brute
- Sophia Leigh

Best Item

Your favorite item of the game, simply.

- Thistle Stone (Highland Fling)
- Crowbar (Highland Fling)
- Cairn Key (Willard's Lair)

- Drill Activator Card (Shakespeare Cliff)
- Pump Access Disk (Shakespeare Cliff)
- Circuit Bulb (Sleeping With the Fishes)
- Mutant Sample (Sleeping With the Fishes)
- The Hand of Rathmore (Sleeping With the Fishes)

- Zoo Key (It's a Madhouse!)
- Aviary Key (It's a Madhouse!)

Best Secret

15 (amazing) secrets, which one is your favorite? I could list them all, actually, but I won't give it away for those who haven't found them all.

Toughest Secret

Same as Best Secret... only it's the one you think was toughest to get/find.

================================================== ========================================

Here's a template to make filling out the Awards a bit easier:

Best Level:
Worst Level:
Toughest Level:
Best Room:
Best Trap:
Best Puzzle:
Best Loading Screen:
Best Enemy:
Best Item:
Best Secret:

I'm going to assume it's the second secret with the sunken U-boat and the little enemy sub that comes after you? If not, please let me know.

Anyway, my votes. I know I haven't finished the last two reviews of The Lost Artifact yet, but what the heck, this won't give away too much.

Best Level: Sleeping With the Fishes
Worst Level: Willard's Lair (I still love it, but it feels a little disjointed compared to the others )
Toughest Level: Shakespeare Cliff (darned quad bike! )
Best Room: So many amazing ones... I'll go with the outdoor castle area of Highland Fling, that's pure beauty
Best Trap: Radioactive goo
Best Puzzle: The circuit bulb puzzle in Sleeping With the Fishes
Best Loading Screen: Sleeping With the Fishes
Best Enemy: Mutated fish
Best Item: Pump Access Disk
Best Secret: The secret glen of Willard's Lair
Toughest Secret: Loch Ness secret of Highland Fling

I love this game.

Best Level: It's a Madhouse
Worst Level: ah man wait a minute hm Reunion because there arent secrets i mean less things to explore
Toughest Level: Williard's Lair; traps, traps, traps. isnt difficult at all but the last time i played i remember that i failed so many times in my No scratch XD.
Best Room: another difficult one... the last place of the game (Reunion). A beautiful beach, a great ballon and an awesome/weird sky
Best Trap: the shotgun shells pickup 2nd secret in Sleeping with the fishes
that sub killed me twice
Best Puzzle: flooding the pit. (Shakespeare Cliff) Also deserves a quote
Quote:
This is almost a better accomplishment than the secret, if you ask me. Just flooding the bottom of this pit satisfies me, as we get the chance to execute a gorgeous swan dive from the top of the pit into the pool at the bottom.
plus you are able to find the most random place in TR history
Best Loading Screen: Sleeping with the fishes
Best Enemy: Sophia Leigh, i like her xD. Ok, if we forget all her madness, she is a great character imo and Sophia's laughter is a win imo
Best Item: The Hand of Rathmore
Best Secret: The Nessie and the surprise
Toughest Secret: The last. you can easily miss the switch or the aviary key and need to restart a whole section. At least it happened to me

Oh yes, that evil giggling is just... SPECTACULAR! Sophia is easily one of the best bosses in TR history, and I must say that I personally prefer her appearance in Reunion over City! Although I loved both battles.
