I just got back from seeing it, never read the books, but the movie wasn't bad at all.

Just a question for those who read the books: How good a portrayal of Katniss do you think she presented?

Excellently portrayed for a very hard role because the book is all inner monologue. Jennifer Lawrence is fantastic.

They couldn't have picked anyone better IMO. Jennifer Lawrence is an outstanding actress.

i don't think they could have made a better choice for Katniss. Jennifer had the perfect attitude and fit very well for the visual that i imagined before seeing the movie.
