Some of you may have seen this before, but it's something (having never passed through Denver International Airport) that I hadn't seen or heard of until just the last few days.
Here are some pictures of artwork which (by all accounts) is exhibited at the airport: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Some people see these murals as sinister and laden with hidden meaning. I'm not so sure. The artist is obviously very talented (the style is quite beautiful), but the content is surely not what you'd expect in an airport - lots of what seem to be symbols of death and terror to my eyes. Or is it? What do you think?

It's just art. Really don't see anything sinister behind it.

It probably is sinister and laden with hidden meanings.
It's art, afterall.

I think if I was scared of flying some of these wouldn't help my cause.
They do look really good tho.

My initial reaction was, "What the **** am I looking at?" After looking over the pictures for awhile, I think maybe it's an anti-war message?
On one side is a scary-looking soldier-type figure killing a dove (the symbol of peace). And the people in the coffins are of different races too, showing that death doesn't discriminate and everyone is equal in death. And then on the other side is sunshine, rainbows, and happy multicultural people. Meanwhile it looks like the rainbow killed the war guy and the doves are perched on his body like peace was victorious in the end.

Trippy! Not something I would expect from Denver, perhaps from a more flamboyant city like S.F., but certainly not Denver.

It reminds me of this piece I saw in a small library in a small town near where I live. It was a black and white...sketch I guess, of famous people such as celebrities, political leaders, religious leaders, etc...
It's eerie though, because in the middle is Jesus and Hitler.
