Wow! There's a real can of worms here! Google "Denver International Airport Art" and you'll get a slew of hits regarding the Conspiracy of DIA.

Here's an interesting link. One of these conspiracy theorist started writing DIA demanding answers. Scroll down to see the the art discussions, but stick around for all the other stuff too.

We lived in Denver when the airport opened, and let me tell you, it was a huge scandal how the baggage handling system didn't work and how you had to pay extra (I think it was $40) merely to fly into DIA.

Who knew there were more scandalous details like underground slave camps?

In all seriousness, I think people who are so paranoid that they can create a conspiracy out of a ****ing mural need their heads checked out.

I'm giving my opinion on what Dennis's Mom posted. Is there something wrong with that?

I just don't want people being told they're paranoid or need their heads checking because they think differently from you. I don't want a repeat of the 911 conspiracy thread.

I know what's on the link, I posted the pictures and said some people associate them with sinister meanings. I just would prefer he didn't associate consideration of ideas with personal fault (or flaws) - it can deter people from speaking out about what they think, for fear of looking stupid.

Imo, he hasn't let other people look at the link before he starts the condemnation.

By implication - yes. Do you get the point that if you're saying things like that about people for believing these things, it can intimidate people into keeping quiet for fear of looking foolish?
