hidden pictures

i heard there is an easter egg in the lost artefact which has hidden pictures, anyone know anything else about it?

There are a few nice little easter eggs in The Lost Artifact; I'm not sure which one you're referring to, so I'll list all three of the ones I know of.

At the beginning of Sleeping With the Fishes, there are pictures of Lara above the lockers. It's hard to see in this image, but if you go to the very beginning of Sleeping With the Fishes it's right behind Lara.



In Willard's Lair there are a few easter eggs in the library area. There are pictures of the four meteorite artifacts on the central table where you pick up the Cairn Key, and two or three of the tables with computers have copies of TR2 Gold sitting on them. I used to have screens of them but I think I deleted them.

In Highland Fling, if you swim with the current to the small wooden platform (on the left), follow the path, through the archway, up the ramp (killing the guard) and right up onto the bridge, if you look right you will be able to see a picture of Lara in the distance.

You are in the right place. It was definitely there in the TR3 Gold demo! Have you tried looking behind the arch you're looking at right now? It might be on that one.

EDIT: Don't worry, I looked myself, there isn't an arch behind the one you're looking at!
But the Lara image was DEFINITELY there, on that archway, but probably only on the demo version. I'll download the demo now and post an image if I can find it.

IIRC, the face behind the bars is only in the demo version, and it's Mike Schmidt. The Great Chi had a pic in an old thread, but it went to bit heaven.

Oops, the spelling in the credits is "Schmitt"

It's been 8 years since I played LA but I remember that my cousin saw nessi's shade hidden in the distance fade
he showed me it , I think it was on that castle where the dog statues were next to the lochness in Highland fling
I remember we had to positoin Lara on edge of that bridge & turn her 45 degrees

Nessie's shade? You can see Nessie him/herself swimming through the waters in the distance (facing downstream), and the main secret of that level actually lets you get a view of Nessie close up!
