Same here. I am a bit mystified with what he meant position? He told us about the Jean Ywes and the german castleö Eckhart and the Kurtis Trent game. Why not this?

Its not like they are actually keeping the storyline for a rainy day. It will be only wasted.

Maybe that's because these informations he gave were rather harmless or already told?
I mean, real Jean Yves was furious that Core used him in their game and made sure to won't let that happen again. Eidos wouldn't have any use of his character, so there was no point in keeping it as secret. Castle Kriegler and Kurtis' games were mentioned years ago in some interview that we can read on Tomb Raider Chronicles page, they're no tabu anymore then.

That is really not very nice to hear but I still hope that we will get that information someday.

Maybe they are. I'm still (naively) hoping for it at least somewhere deep inside.

I think there is probably a multitude for Marty's decision in saying what he did. Copyright may have been a factor, another may have been that he may no longer be in posession of the material we need and another may be that, as we're asking about stuff that was to follow or never made it in, we are dealing with conceptual stuff that was never solidified or made physical anywhere and he may not have it so clear in his mind after all this time. From interiews he has given, he doesn't seem to have been very happy with how AOD was directed and maybe he just doesn't want to think about it anymore. But I'm sure he is still flattered that after 8 and a half years, people are still so intregued about his work, and it was kind of him to answer.

Actually I asked questions that were cut from the Aod during the final minute. Most of them were quite harmless. ANd he was indeed flattered. I am assuming that he doesn't mind getting questions. Otherwise he wouldn't have created his website.

I am also thinking about the copyright issues. Because he emphasized the public domain part. Actually he mentioned in his website that he planned to write the whole story for Aodö but for some unknown reason we ended up with Amulet of Power.

It seems like Eidos is still trying to keep Angel Of Darkness secret. Maybe they have plans about it in the long run. (Probably not)

It was probablt just bad marketing. For example I don't think it would hurt anyone if Eidos releases the full lenght intro with the Werner and Egypt. We only got a glimpse of that cutscene and there is probably a more complete version somewhere.

Adrian smith said that Egypt dream was a part of the flashbacks and we were going to see it again two times. Real twist was going to be revealed at the end. Kinda like the real flashbacks we witnessed in the game.

Based on those lines I assumed that her escape had something to do with Nephilim. Since this information was after Germany and the Cappadoccia was cut out from the game.

If some at the Eidos still has those original flashback sequences (if) it would be a great Christmas gift to AOD fans. (Though I doubt it would happen)

If anyone still had a other 3d art from the game or the deleted cutscenes it would have been great. Then again I don't think it will ever happen. It is just a wild idea.

Yeah, but maybe Murti can't answer due to a non-disclosure agreement. I imagine Eidos wouldn't have wanted him to say anything about the rest of the story back when they thought AOD was going to be a trilogy, so maybe he's still under that contract. If that's the case, then maybe someday Eidos can give permission for him to answer whatever questions aren't public knowledge already.

Beta version from E3 would be a very good gift as well. Even if they made it available to download on the Internet for some price.
