I'd be really interested in teaming up with someone.
My strengths: -Dialogues. -Describing thoughts, feelings and environments. -Setting up an interesting and consistent plot. My weaknesses: -I'm not a native English speaker, so I sometimes make mistakes or use too simple vocabulary. -Action scenes. I'd love to have someone team up with me who can correct my mistakes/help me out whenever I don't know how to say something. In other words, someone who is a native English speaker. And you should be creative, as well, but I guess that's a given. EDIT: I've got a writing partner. Last edited by Zebra; 27-01-12 at 21:19. |

^Good idea! This format should help folks decide on who would be a good fit to work with.

Yay, you actually made the thread. I'm definitely interested in doing this. I'm sure people are aware of my strengths/ weaknesses from the fanfic competition so if anyone wants to team up, let me know!

This sounds interesting. Also it's a good way for a non-experienced writer to get some useful tips and practice. I'm on my way to pester Hayley to join me in a team. x

Oh, at last a really awesome Competition
Count me in Strengths: - describing things ,environments, feelings and actions - finding good transitions between two actions or stories and relating them - good in researching things (if needed) and fixing plot holes - dramatize situations Weaknesses: - Not a native speaker, so my expressions might be too simple sometimes - Setting up a fundamental base for a story I consider myself a good writer and I like to write in my free time (though mostly poems and lyrics) I would like someone who can fix these flaws I have and someone who has a good idea for a fresh and imaginative start of the story. I would prefer to write something AoD related |

Really interesting idea for a competition, Quasi! How long should the story be?

^Good question. The story can be as long or as short as you like. The focus on this challenge is on the collaborative effort and creativity that goes into the story.
