Sad is relative. I'm sure a lot of animals would find it sad that we can't see ultraviolet at all, and dogs would probably find our limited sense of smell rather sad.

I'm going to try to remember to get a blue toy for my dog next time I stop at a PetSmart.

I'd never even heard of the #1 in the video, about the frog, but yeah I can see how lobotomizing them would cause problems for the myth.

I also checked out the daddy long-legs video, but I just listened and didn't watch.

Didn't know they're actually something completely different in other countries, interesting.

Me too. Ringo is a lab and wants nothing more than to fetch, but sometimes it seemed like he was BLIND because he couldn't find the toy. Now I know it might be because he simply couldn't see it.

You'd assume that dogs, as you would with most carnivores, could see red well.

Blood and guts are pretty red.

I shall certainly buy my dog blue toys in future.
