Question Tomb Raider Game of the Year?

Hi everybody

I don't know if anybody ask this before(sorry if i making same thread twice):did Tomb Raider ever won Game of the year award?

No. "Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences" wasn't actually out around back then. It was made one year later with the award for Game Of The Year presented to Goldeneye 007.

It was however game of the year in the eyes of Electronic Gaming Monthy , PS Extreme, Ultra Game Players and Game Fan.

meh. goldeneye was an awesome game but TR was literally the first game of its kind back then. It definitely was groundbreaking to say the least.

Well Goldeneye was released almost a year after Tomb Raider, so they were hardly competing against each other. Below are a few of the awards Tomb Raider received.

Well i am disappointed since not a single TR game by core design didn't win game of the year.
