It's clearly a hack of some kind.

Wow, that's hilarious!

To me it looks like that some values (accel/speed?) of those animations have been modified. It should be possible with tools that allow the editing of converted levelfiles. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of that tool anymore.

(Or just use a pizza ;p )

I think I remember something about a TR4 video did the same, and just like Matie says I think it was done with adjusting something in the speed data..
Don't remember the name though, if someone knows please tell me

Looks to me that gravity has been tweaked, but I don't know how - probably by direct editing of tomb2.exe.

I would like to have the patch doing that and to try the same
