Why would you do that? Win7 is amazing.

This, tbqh. People should play the game actually and decide if it's any good then. Or not play it if they're not convinced. Actually I have no idea if the xp is done well or not, just by looking. I've yet to play a game that has this system or one like it. Maybe it's generous to begin with but it's harder to obtain later on.

Yeah, the scavengers on the island haven't upgraded their PCs yet.

It's still one of the most widely-used operating systems.

You hush now!!! For all you know, our poor, defenseless Lara isn't strong enough to pull those arrows out of the corpse's.

This whole "getting xp for nothing" nonsense just doesn't make much sense to me.

You get it when you kill, and discover places and collectibles. So in Deus Ex, even though you get xp for going through air vents and killing guys (that are story related and not side missions), it's not worthy of xp?

Because it appears to be a similar system. I mean do you want collecting xp to be annoying and a chore? Do you want to only collect xp from...from what even? And that game still manages to be very challenging. Creating challenge in an XP system is kind of shotty uncreative way of doing it. I would prefer challenge in actual gameplay.

To be fair, I understand that getting xp looks like its coming from nothing right now sometimes because everything we've seen has been fairly linear because there's only one way to discover something in a linear space, but that will make more sense when it starts to open up. Everything you've seen has been a tutorial.

The XP system - Is it executed well?
My answer to that would have to be I have no idea because I haven't played the game, but xp system is not something I'm concerned about at all.

Well said, I was actually about to make a post exactly like this mentioning Deus Ex.

Maybe she isn't skilled enought to properly take them out without breaking them.
