It has alot to do with me, thanks very much. It also has alot to do with the guy who started the thread. How is it homophobic?

Is it really necessary to say things like 'happy birthday from your gay brother!'... it sounds childish and honestly implies they got family issues.. maybe their brother is struggling with the idea and their feeling bitchy or subconsciously reiterate because of that.

Although straight people point out their sexuality indirectly alot of the time. How many times have I been drinkin with friends and they start lookin at some girl and saying she's hot and they'd say dirtier stuff i can't repeat on a forum. If I said that about another guy people might judge me and think I'm rubbing it in.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone considered this offensive (referring to the thread.)

People do this sort of stuff all the time. My granny always writes on my facebook wall on my birthdays "Happy Birthday from your Nanny xx". Should she be criticized for pointing out see is a granny?

And yeah as disapearing-boy pointed out straight guys/girls do it to with "damn look at dat ass" or something similar.

How does that make it any different? Not everyone on facebook knows she's my grandmother. That's only all the more reason to point it out if people don't know.

But youd better compare it with like: "Happy Birthday from your swaggy brother" or something.
