the Transparent needle

....this is an old one as I can read under teh cheat section...i've read them all...

still remain the problem:

Can't make the needle transparent (note that ive followed point by point excktly all the necessary moves in their right order)

hoping for solutively feed back

Hello and welcome to the forum. Find a North facing block and pull up. As soon as the animated pull-up completed, i.e. Lara is standing on top of the block or ledge, hit the escape/inventory key. The compass will now be tranny. Welcome again!

Welcome to the forum...

I would like to add something here. Some video cards don't allow you to see the compass transparent. You face exactly north, the red needle faces north but the compass isn't transparent. To make sure you face EXACTLY north (even if your compass isn't transparent), do what tlr said. Then, enter the code...

hi Elen and thank you for yor reply....i think the problem is as you said the video card that does not allow me to see the transparance....
still ive done the procedures as to be done:
- face north
- jump up the block and grab the edge

but then no change

Hi Ruggu...

When you press GUNS (without the + right??), do you hear a noise from your speakers?? It's like a "bip"... You know, it's like when we hit many keys on our keyboard and the PC "reacts" with this noise...

Also, try this... Perform the cheats while facing East. Don't ask me why, just do it...

And just to let you know, there is always a solution!!

yes i do not add the + between the letters and i'll try from the East side (even the other 2)...
ive been wondering....could it be that my keybord card is not compatible to the game (no beep enyway)? I bought the game from UK (English version) and my keybord is in Italien....just a thought it may not be relevant

yea theres allways a solution but some time you get kind of desperate....

another question: is the TRsgEditor 6.0.1.75 good to use in case the above mentioned does not work?

Hi...

I just asked about the "beep" (and not "bip"

) because some systems can't accept the pressing of many keys. Get an Editor that works for sure here
