"Useless" items

There are many picked up items like "broken
glasses" (in coastal ruins) and "broken beetle" (in cleopatra's palaces) for which I
can't find any use although I've played
the game through three times. Does anybody
possibly know if there is a use for them?

There is truely no use for those items to my knowledge. The broken glasses (found after *Hall Of Demetrius*) was only to let us know that Von Croy had passed that way.

The broken beettle, was to raise a platform in the Temple of Isis. But other than that, it had no use.
