I'll lead the charge. Lord Of The Rings (Return Of The King) for the second time. Frodo and Sam are just about to go kick Mordor ass.

None at the moment. My favorite read has been Robin Hobbs "Live Ship" trilogy. Truly could not put them down.

Goodness, how do I condense it?
It starts with the death of a captain on the deck of his ship Vivacia(I love the name). As the mans blood soaks into the wood of his ship she quickens with life. The figurehead's eyes open, she becomes aware and bonds with the captains daughter. The adventure takes off from there. It has sea serphents, evil , hidden secrets, love and discovery and much more. Hobb has a writing style that is easy to read and pulls you from page to page. A most enjoyable read! [ 15 February 2003, 05:56: Message edited by: Annacia ] |

i can not currently read books...
its not an illness, or an imparment... it was high school. I finished high school, class of 2000. In about grade 5-6 i got really into books, and was reading them all the time up until about year 11 because of this: in high school here (Oz), from year 7 to year 12 you analyse books, and do things like book reports, and in the final years essays and stuff like that on chosen books. This ruined my interpretation of books in that when i tried to read (for enjoyment) a book, id read to much into it and not be able to finish it. It destroyed my luv for literature. It may sound silly to some, but for now i cant read a book and may soon try, but i just feel i wouldnt enjoy it... |
