Oh well, looks like I'm the first to post again

This level was of course easy enough. Though I was very nervous. I was most concerned about the tiger by the pool, which proved to be easy. Then the rolling balls and the spike trap, which was also easy. The next difficulty which took me a few more attempts was the spike walls and the pickup. My main difficulty was getting Lara to turn with my gamepad. After this was the chopping blades/collapsing tiles/spike walls/jade dragon pickup. The worst part was the chopping blades. That took me about six tries. Thankfully I managed to get the jade dragon first go once getting by the chopping blades (which isn't usual for me).

The next, and really the last, difficult part in this level was the dinosaurs. OMG, how easy were they?! I don't know what I was worrying about. Of course, this is the first level, so all is plain sailing. We'll see how it goes. Yes, no scratch, pistols only, no medpacks, no flares.

Here are my stats for The Great Wall:

Morning Nicky

You forgot? The two tigers were easy as pie. Navigation and traps are harder than the enemies. I've done about half of Venice now. Of course, the gun men are tricky. But possible to get them so far without a scratch.

Well I've compleated Venice. It seems so very short now. The first four enemies were easy enough. Then the first problematic gunman, but after some playing around I found a timewasting way to kill him without a scratch. I'm surprised at how quickly they actually go down with just the pistols.

The next gunman required even more messing about. When you've driven the boat around to the lock and you shoot the window to go in the room and pull the lever. He is a pain. But after I shot him and encountered the next, I found an easy way to kill them! Let's hope it holds true for the rest of the game. Having said that, the worst is the one guarding the switch for the final timed door. I think in all honesty I got him by sheer fluke (or a game bug). I managed to get a shot on him and jump up. Then his shots weren't hitting Lara at all, and she was well within range. Anyway, I had to do the timed boat run several times because I kept hitting things! On to Bartoli's hideout.

Here are my stats for Venice:

OK ok, so I've done the third level too. I couldn't help myself.

I found the first unavoidable scratch in this level, but it is so negligible it barely shows on the healthbar. It's the jump from the canopy to the double door (down to which the two dogs come).

Now I've figured out how to tackle the gunmen, I'm finding them so much easier, and I'm finding myself far less worried about them. Though there are some more tricky than others. One in particular in this level, immediately after picking up the detonator key. But I eventually found a way to deal with him. My first try his bullets weren't touching Lara. Then I screwed up and had to reload. Thereafter, every shot he fired hit her. But I cracked how to get him and he ran away!

I was reminded at the end of this level that using the detonator key is totally unnecessary (unless you're going for all kills, which I am). I finally managed to beat SYS's time on a level. Just Anyway, on to Opera House. Now there's a few gunmen here that I AM worried about. Here are my stats for Bartoli's Hideout:

Hey mattioz, someone else with stats! What are you going for in this challenge? You know you missed a kill? Bet it was a spider.

Cool

Well done so far Net!
Just one thing I'm curious about.....when you only get to use pistols, how are you going to deal with for example the divers in the ship wreck levels??
I'm not sure you can kill all of them from standing on land using the pistols.
I asume you won't be using the harpoon gun???
Well good luck!!

I don't know Angelina. I'll deal with that when I get to it. It's like a lot of things. I think "Oh no, how am I gonna do that?" and you often figure a way when you get there. But anyway, if I can't get them with pistols I'll have to make a decision whether to leave them or use another weapon. We'll see.

Well, my last level for today. Opera House. So I think I find a spot where I can't avoid damage. Getting the key to get into the Opera House. Doing the jump from where the swinging crate is, Lara does get damaged. That's bad enough, but then you are beset by the muscleman with the truncheon, ready to beat Lara to a pulp. I tried quite a few times and really wasn't satisfied. And it was in looking for a way to get in and avoid the thug that I found a way to get in without damage!

But my excitement was short lived because I knew I had to deal with plenty of gunmen and two in particular, when you go down in the lift. First attempt, disaster. Second, disaster. Then an idea. Third attempt, success! Got 'em without a scratch. I was more pleased about this than anything.

The worst thing about his level (it's never been a favourite of mine), was remembering which way to go next. As far as I can now think, most of the rest of the enemies thereafter were easy. Though I forgot about one or two and they gave me a fright. Funny thing is, in playing this challenge I was able to get a particular gunman at a distance. Something I've never been able to do since I first bought the game!

Cut a long story short, to the end and big guy with the shotguns. I was so worried about his guy. Not only him, but two dogs and the danger of triggering another gunman mid fight. This is exactly what I did on my first go, trying to give the big guy the run around! So there was poor Lara with him, the dogs and the second gunman. Disaster! I tried another tactic on my second go, and I was amazed that it worked, which made dealing with the rest much easier. Here are my stats for Opera House:

Thumbs down

You know, it's too hard to pick the autoclips without getting damage. Is there any trick?

Edit=I was talking about the great wall, but I managed to get no damage!
