Trouble with TLR

I am having prolems with TLR on my comp. I have XP professional. The problem is when I am in KV5, I can't get out of the car. I hit the End button like I'm supposed to, but it doesn't do anything. I also tried changing the button, but that didn't work either. Then I tried to skip the level, but that cheat won't work. HELP!
