Saudi Arabia Dark Dongeon blocks

I read shandor's thread and still can't get out of the area.
How do I tell east from west?
Do I switch places with the blocks or just move them across from original position?
I've tried every combination and nothing has happened.

Hi I just read my own post and its a bit confusing ,sorry....from memory (which is always suspect)when you stand facing the blocks you pull them backwards as far as you can then go around to the other side and push them the remaining 1 square hard up against the wall (in the direction you were pulling) ,you do this to all 4 blocks ,one block sort of blocks the way between the 2 rooms and you can jump and twist over it on the diagonal....now this was in the old version and cant say for the remastered one...hope this helps....Shandor

P.S press esc and look at the compass to check which way Lara is facing......

Hi shandor,thanks for the reply.

For some reason I don't have the compass when I hit esc...........I seem to have everything else!

I've put the blocks in that position and nothing seems to happen - except the door to the crossbow pickup closes again.
Where am I suppose to go?
