I have two questions- one:
I used wadmerger to extract the wad from the second VCI level in trc. Where can I find the ID tags for the wad merger? It says go to a certain site but the site says nothing about it. And where can I find out how to use all the stuff like building the XRAY and the laser traps? Oh, and when I save a project with the Level editor, it saves fine, but when I output wad it says "autosave could not save". When i open up the level converter, it says it could not open the project. WHen I reopen the editor to load my project , I get an "ILLEAGAL OPERATION, this program will be shutdown." Any Idea what could be wrong? I've searched the manual and it says nothing about it. THANKS!!!!

Hi!!
When you output the WAD and try to save your TOM file, do you use the same name as your WAD?? If so, and you have this problem, delete the autosave.prj from your trle folder. Also, you can't open a project using Level Convertor. I'm sorry but I can't reply on the WADMerger thing. I've never used it before... |

Hi Illusion, I'm not an expert, but I've had the same problem. What I did was put the level editor back to it's original settings and rebuild the WAD from scratch, testing each object as I added it with WadMerger. I eventually found out which object was causing the problem, and binned it. Had no problems after that. When putting the editor files back to the originals, don't forget to copy your level somewhere first!

Hi Khandi. Nice new avatar. Gosh, are you a young lady? I thought you were a bloke! These mixings of gender avatars is confusing!
