Saw it in WHSmiths today and bought it cos its only a fiver. Its pretty good and if you're a fan of the series, it makes an interesting read. Theres the familiar backstory to how Lara Croft was created, but its very detailed and i learned alot of new stuff. There's also a summary of each of the sequels, with pictures showing the graphical progression.
There's also an in-depth look at Lara herself, including the development of her life story to her aesthetic changes, with a great spread of the different costumes.
Perhaps most interesting though is the AOD stuff, which makes up a sizeable chunk of the book (which is produced in excellent quality by the way). Alot of the pictures throughout the book have been seen in loads of magasines already, but there is pages of concept art that look great, and some of it is new, and/or explained with captions.
The book isnt perfect. There are lot of grammatical and spelling mistakes, that actually get worse through the book. Some of the pictures are used more than twice, and the captions dont always fit the picture.
The last few pages of the book should also be avoided if you have not completed the game, because the ending is revealed in an interview that discusses the next TR game in alot of detail.(Its going to be set in Turkey, and will be heavily tombs-based). There are also references to the later levels that you may wish to avoid.
All in all, a very worthy purchase, so keep a look out for it!

Yeh The Sleeper looks great! Alot of the concept art is amazin, really creative and i think the second game is going to be fantastic if they are able to create locations on that kinda scale.
From the little bit i read of the next one, to avoid spoilers of AOD's ending, it sounds quite good, and its very interesting that they are setiing in one location (like TLR), this time it being underground tombs in turkey... cant wait!

I hope the AOD book companion will be available in the US.
