That should probably be okay. AOD will most likely use DirectX, which is just a way of getting your hardware to work with most games. How it works is-
1. You install DirectX (it's usually included on the CD when you buy a game, or you can download it from microsoft) 2. DirectX looks for the drivers and things you have in your computer, and finds drivers for each of them which were provided by the manufacturer. It sets itself up and finds out how to use your hardware. 3. When you play a game, it will tell DirectX how it wants to use the hardware, and DirectX itself knows how to use your hardware, so it uses it to make the graphics, sounds etc according to how the game wants. Basically it means that you have to set up DirectX once with your hardware, and all your games should then be able to use your hardware. It's a very widespread system, so most games use it now. If you played any of the TR games since TR2 and got them to work with your graphics card then congratulations, you have directX working and all games should (SHOULD ) work fine!Btw, to see if/how directX is working, go into the run command and type "Dxdiag" |

YES Some of my favorate up comming games like indiana Jones& the Emporers Tomb,OAD and a few others will use the most recent version of direct X drivers such as directX 8.0 Wich i have installed on my computer allready, thay where installed by the directX installer added to the jedi knight Jedi Outcast program. However this Game was tested with the 7200 graghics card wich in turn lucus arts experianced slowdowns in the game so the card could not be recomended on the box& i still even now with the new updated drivers for the ATI radiod 7200 expeiriance slow downs in the game.

I just wanna tell sleeper that DirectX 9.0 beta versions are available already. The thing is, we don't know whether AOD is going to use it's features or not. In DirectX 9.0 your have full support for Full Screen Games, Increased FPM, Enhanced antiailashing Features and A lot more...
