How do you REALLY kill Boaz? PC Version only

This is about the PC version, not PS2 version.

I've been doing this for a while now. And have gotten absolutely nowhere.

I've worked out a trick to keep Kurtis more or less permanently at Boaz's side. But, no matter what I do, he refuses to aim at anything other than her "head" (the real one underneath the body). How do I get him to target the pod covers?

And please don't bring up the END key to change targets. That's ALL the other threads said. And it OBVIOUSLY does not do anything (Kurtis stays locked onto Boaz's head-or, at least, he does in my version).

So, how does the target change work in the PC version?

its ROLL key, defoult END
but u must chainge target when boaz is throwing @ u green goo from pods, only than u can chainge target

Apperently you hug the wall in one of the corners??? I never managed to find out which one tho... every time I tried she gored Kurtis... not a bad thing... not not very useful... I just had Kurtis dance around and keep out of her way, turning often and shooting... but the targeting SUCKS!!!!!! best of luck... it can be done... it just taks a LOT of patience...........

my mission has just been accomplished and you switch targets with ROLL, that is whatever you have assigned this to either your keyboard or a pad if that is what you connect to your PC. Once you figure out how to switch target for the pods, it rather straight-forward really.

U know u can only shoot the pods on her back at a certain time, that may be y u cant get kurtis to get a lock on them, shoot the actual boaz (on the spiders underside) then when she starts spraying the green venom form the pods on her back, kurtis will be able to get a lock on them !!!!

I was getting really fed up wit her so I broke down and used the trainer.... I haven't said this enough: BOAZ IS A PILE OF ****!!!!!

Yeah, tried that. Actually, I tried every key I could use in Tomb Raider and still nothing happened.

I did back Kurtis into the corner once to try it, and managed to take off the front two pod covers. But I couldn't get him to target the rear pod covers. He kept aiming at the ones that weren't there anymore.

I think we met the same problem, but I have solved it and I bet you can as well.

Stand to her side and Kurtis aims her front pods automatically, so while aiming, you press "End" and u'll see Kurtis changes his target to rare pods. Don't keep on pressing "end", just tab it and **pheww**...

Here's Cobra's guide to killing Boaz.

Boaz has 5 targetable areas

a. Her face
b. 2 forward holes
c. 2 rear holes

Facing Boaz with gun drawn, start firing and strafing as soon as she's targeted. Then she'll start spewing ooze. Shot one of her forward holes. Stop firing.

Wait for Boaz to come charging again, this time strafe to the other side and take out the other forward hole.

Hiting the rear holes follows the same idea, but now you need to use the "roll" button. Wait until you have a line of sight, then shot them.

Several things to note.

1. Boaz's head can only be targetted up close

2. Boaz's other parts are automatically targetted when her head gets hit enough. When she starts shooting out green ooze, that's the only time to target her holes

3. She will pause when she's lost one of her four ooze thingys

4. The ammo lying on the ground will only re-appear when you have no bullets left at all

5. To target the back openings, you must press the "roll" buttom until Kurtis visibly changes targets. Sometimes you might have to stop pressing anything else before it will worse
