I think its a system very similar to previous tomb raider games on the PSone.

You have 8 locations (Russia, Bolivia, West africa etc) and within these locations are different levels.

Take for example Tomb Raider 1. You travelled to Peru and within Peru you had the caves, city of valcambia (sp?), lost valley and tomb of qualopec. Or take tomb raider 2, where Lara visited venice, china, oil rig and tibet. Within each of these locations were multiple levels (Tibetian foothills, Barkhang monestry etc for Tibet for example).

Do you see?

Its 8 different countries or locations, no idea about levels within, maybe each location is just massive. they mentioned about the 6th generation streaming technique so there is no need to load a new level, it's all there on the screen at once

Yeah, I suppose your right there Notts

8 locations, but each one is MASSIVE. Sounds more likely.

I like the idea of the 'sand-box' style of game play. Basically, you can roam anywhere and pick up pieces of the puzzle in any order. It's like being in a giant Tomb Raider playground.

That idea is really great. Like you could make all the desicions about the tomb-raiding itenerary.

Or you could get totally lost and off-track... roamimg around...

But in one audio comment it was said that the "camera" will give clues to the solution of the puzzle, so you don't have to "go back" like in TR4, if you know what I mean.It was implied that the level or locaton you are in would have all the puzzle pieces there, but with a dynamic interaction. You just have to figure out what to use where ( and maybe when)

Well they say the game will take 10-12 hours to complete so it could have 35, less or a little bit more. We'll just have to wait for more news.

In other words, these 8 levels will also divide into levels, giving us more than 8 levels.
