Question

Why do lot's of you hate Kurtis?
Is it because you just want Lara (steady boys)? Or is there some kind of conspiracy going on????

I think it's because of the Boaz battle.
I don't hate him

Mic The fact that he has devoted fans and sworn haters could only mean that he's an interesting character - which is cool, isn't it? If he was indifferent, people wouldn't worry about him that much

Welcome to the forum, btw

i respect others opinions on kurtis but i agree - there is nothing wrong with him, its alot more to say 'why hate him?' then to answer to 'why like him?' hating is a more negative thing and it matters more to know why

I don't have a problem with the personality of Kurtis. I cannot help feeling however, that his role is clumsily managed and disappointingly explained.

I personally don't like the doe eyed Kurtis because Tomb Raider IS Lara Croft, simple as. If I want to play another character, I buy a different game.

yea...but its not like hes over taking Lara, he's just on the good side...lara will still be the main character of TR , she always will be - makers know they can't and won't change that!
But it's interesting for a change to have an extra - ya know as back up. Even in AOD , he didnt have that many levels to himself, and that was a good thing - i think he should stick around mainly to just back up lara ,,,he wont take over!

Exactly. As I have said many times in the past, I don't mind him making another guest appearance in another TR, but it would be much better if he had a game of his own. I like him and I think he's a character that can be developed further, given that he has an adventure of his own to carry out - and that his movements and features are refined
