. . . quickly get the items in that room in 'Level One: The Great Wall' where the spiked walls are closing in on you? I never have enough time and when I try to get it, I die.

yeah, i always force myself to get ALL secrets when i play tomb raider... and yes, those spikey walls were TERRIBLE!!!

The second secret there can be difficult too. As TRM says, you just need to be quick and careful and stop in the right place.

me to, on jungle in tr3, theres a spike part i thought it opened a door, when it did and unleached a wall i dident see, i found my self getting stabbes so i rolled went died eventually, there was a space behind the lever so i went in there.

I tend to ignore that pickup as it makes my life easier, but on the few occasions I have tried, I tend to only just get out alive... more practice on that spot is needed I think (and to think I thought I was vaguely good at it lol...)

O i hate that part i thought id never be able to get that pickup but after a few trys i could manage it
