Oh well, I love AJ, but I love Lara Croft even more, and I would be just as happy if someone else did the role. |

that is just the same old news we had earlier from a different source and I still think it is the usual marketing speak to get everyone talking ,we had this last time remember ,and I still think she may well do it and if not then no TR3 as NO ONE else can do i and the film would not be worth watching as it is only really AJ who has held together the series so far. My guess is she will do it though....................

This is exactly the same quotes we have been seeing before, with the addition of an eye-catching title that she, to my knowledge, has not said. The headline is a fake quote used to grab attention that the story does not deserve, as well as being a distortion of what she said. They also did not include most of what Angie actually did say. I'll remember that, whenever someone points out news from this source again.
The way I see it: Angie was originally willing to do three movies. She said she didn't want to do a second, but did it anyway and seems to be very happy with it. I think she is willing to be convinced to do another, although she seems to want to take a break from films in general and just be with her son. That's a pretty good reason, especially with all the work for the UNHCR she would probably also do as a result. RAS |

I wholeheartedly agree with you. Besides, once upon a time I do believe I recall hearing AJ state (in a quick on camera interview , perhaps in reference to a future TR film) "I will never say never..." or something to that regard. Not etching anything in stone either way, it does leave options open.
Some quality personal time, good scripting, acceptable director , salary (obviously used so many times to help the less fortunate) and continued encouragement hopefully will combine to bring AJ back for TRIII. |

Maybe Tomb Raider can become like a James Bond movie.
There are like 100 James Bond movies with like different actors. |
