The movie King Kong
Just saw the 2005 version on DVD. Anybody else thought it was terribly sad?

DEFINITELY! But I loved it to say the least. It was really sad seeing Kong fall. =( I think I cried a little as well.
They did a really good job on it, really loved the t-rex scene! |

By the way I hated those giant spiders and insects, they were horrible
This movie is definitely not for people with fear of spiders and fear of heights! |

yes, that film was very moving... even though it was another "shallow" CG film, i did feel that it was very moving.

I actually like when a movie is big on CG effects, makes stuff one can only dream with look real. |

I hadn't cried at a film for a long time until I saw King Kong. So yes, I did think it was sad. But it was a good film and I enjoyed watching it, even though the first half was a lil' tiny bit boring...
