They are beautifully rendered and told stories, full of tragedy, romance, humour, bizarre enemies...you can't really define them in simple words. In order to understand Final Fantasy, you have to play them. I'm playing FFX-2 right now

every final fantay game is an independent story.. only ffx had a sequel..
final fantasy games are.. well role playing games. And it evolves around a story.. ffx2 was kinda bad in that since it was mission based.. The stories have many meanings.. some have many sides.. likes this new final fantasy game that is in work.. ffXIII has three differend games.. three stories..

Might I ad that square enix id one of the best story tellers in game indrustry.. and they hardly ever let their games out witout finishing them *cough*eidos*cough*

Final Fantasy games are rpgs that have very good story lines. Every game is different. The only thing that stayed in every game was that they had a Cid, Biggs and Wedge in about eevery one. There can be sad, funny, wierd, and all other kinds of things at parts.
