RED ALERT "still stuck"

HELP I'm still stuck at the end of red alert
i've apparently hit a glitch and cant get back as i've saved over it. I was given a cheat code (thanks) to start me back at the beginning of R.A. R1 + x but this just starts me back at Rome. one of the mediators
was getting back to me but not as yet, i'm now going slightly mad after getting so close
so if anyone knows the code i'd appreciate it as would my SHRINK "CHEERS"

go to start menu highlight new game option by pushing and holding up then press r1+_x this takes you back to the 13th floor

lynton i did the same thing but i had to restart in the sub,just now made it back to the 13th floor.mmk

guys....youre obviously pc users...its just that on the psx youve got five slots per memory card and that means five saves. its probably me being a bit thick but how come youve not saved closer? surely restarting in the sub....to the 13th floor....

i did save closer to bl--dy close
thats why i had to restart the 13th floor no big deal besides even restarting i finished the whole lot in under 11 hours?
THIS GAME IS JUST TOO EASY TAKE NOT PROGRAMMERS "MAKE 6 HARDER AND ALOT LONGER I CANT BELIEVE I'LL HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER 12 MONTHS CANT YOU BRING OUT 2 A YEAR?
