I'm thinking about getting Fallout 3, only because it would be so odd to see a post-apocalyptic version of my city. That and I typically like Bethesda's open world RPGs of course.

I was also thinking about Portal 2 which I have wanted for a while now, but I heard that is has little to no replay value unlike the first. Any input on both?
I'd go for Fallout: New Vegas instead. Pretty much just like F3, just with a much better writing and characters and all that. Then again, it's also way buggier of what I recall, but that's nothing a couple patches wouldn't fix.

And I don't see how the first Portal would have any more replay value than the second. That being said, I do prefer the first one simply because it was more challenging and didn't have a character most loved but I for one found excruciatingly annoying.

Fallout 3 is a brilliant Open World, FPS, RPG, and is actually a really big game, but worth playing.

Portal 2 is a brilliant sequel to the first game and features two brilliant stories. One story where you once again take the role of Chell and the second story is for co-op play only, but still fun to play. Its true it has little replay value unless you are achievement/trophy hunting, but if you download the DLC for the game it add extra stuff for the single player and co-op games.

I like New Vegas more than Fallout 3, but the latter is still an amazing game in it's own right. Make sure to get the GOTY edition, or the DLC, as they are super good!

F3: GOTY is $20 on Amazon (in the US)
F: NV GOTY is $40 "

Get Fallout 3, It has more meat on it then New vegas had.

Oh, and the White house is featured, but at the same time it's not.
