Should TR:A menu uses Original Theme Music? - Page 3

It should be a remix of the original music I think. Same basic tunes, but orchestrated or something fancy like that.

The same as the original except orchestral, make it subtle yet striking, that's what I loved about the original music. Ahh just imagining something like that would be truly amazing.

Nope, they recorded music on tape back in those days... computer based recording were only coming in to the recording studios back then.
synthesizer is not the same thing as computer (PC)

AoD had real instruments, a symphony orchestra, but i think every other game had synthesizer based music.

Yes please the original music for the AE.

I don't mind them remixing, but I hope they go careful. Don't overdo the orchestral bits, some of the beauty was in the particular way the music was presented.

Definitely No techno beats or arcade-y style music.

And also - I'm begging them, don't use CONTINOUS music. It kills the atmosphere.

Joking. Of course, they should use the original theme, or one closely like it. And they should sneak "Venice Violins" in somewhere while they're at it.

Actually, they used digital tape for mastering music long before TR1, and they still master on digital tape before burning CD's for consumer consumption...

CD would be really missing the boat if they did not use the original theme. I would like to see them update some of the sound effects. The repetitive clanging in the Cistern needs some variety. After awhile in TR1 you could detect a pattern and I often wondered if there was some coded message in it?
