Default "Hex"ing

Hi. for a program, I need to put the following "0xFF" as the first BYTE. How do I do this? I am using Hex Workshop and I cant seem to type 0xFF without getting some sort of error while typing it.

Any help will be appreciated

Zac,

Try typing just FF, or ff, or, if you're in decimal mode, 255. The 0x is not part of the value, it's just a prefix to indicate that what follows is a hexadecimal value.
