laralives - What he means is after you downloaded the file Right Click on it and select Properties. Under the General tab you'll see at the very bottom of the window "Security: This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer". Next to that text you'll see a button "Unblock". Click on it then click "Apply" and then "OK".

After you scanned it for viruses of course. This file is "safe" because it comes from TRC site. But you should make scanning of any files you download a habbit.

OH!

I downloaded it from gamespot which i am starting to believe is an untrustworthy downloading site
which is why now i am downloading from
tombraiderchronicles...

I hope this will solve my problems if it doesn't work i will try what you have just told me

trrc.exe TR Registry Cleaner will remove all game settings left behind after uninstalling TR games.

So: first uninstall the demo. Then run trrc.exe.
Then re-install the demo.

Okay i ran it and cleaned the registry only for Tomb Raider Legend Demo...

Did i have to clean it for the full game too???
