I think I read somewhere that it is going to be released early March.

$1000 sounds about right.

The PS2 around that price when it was first released here but went down to about $600 by the end of the year. I'd expect the same to happen with the PS3.

ps3 is actually cheap becuase blu-ray players are like 1500-200$ and ps3 is like 829$ for 20gig and 999$ for 60gig and it has LOADS MORE STUFF then jsut a blu-ray player plus you can run it as a pc becuase you can load linux and you can add a bigger hardrive in it

so its cheap,ITS SUPER PC becuase it has linux!!!
