I first came across it becuase of my Dad. He bought TR1 when I got my Playstaion. What about you guys, why did you first pickup Tomb Raider?

The demo came with some magazine some years ago.
I re-played it like a dozen times and finally, my mom bought me the whole version

I didn't start to play the demos until TR3 came out. I must say though, the Area 51 level in it was boaring. Plus her sprint was very aquard. My favorite game on the demo disk was Med-Evil.

For me it all started with the TR1 demo.
I had played a few first person shooter games (oh yeah! ) like Blake Stone and Duke Nukem 3D, and one day as I was browsing a site with game demos, I spotted the TR1 demo. I thought, let's see what all this fuss is about! That was it: I was hooked instanstly! Later I looked for the rest of the demos and then went on the hunt for the games in the market. I have played them zillions of times since then!

Ah, I was just lucky and I didn't even know what the internet was at that time due to me being like 4.

Its never too late to start playing Tomb Raider. I'm just happy that I've been playing since the day it hit shelves.

I dont remember where I heard about it, but I remember sitting in the computer lab at school not long after it came out and looking up online anywhere I could a demo for it..and trying to play it and dying..
But I never was able to buy it and really get into to it until I bought my first ps1 in 2001, used from a person I worked with. I bought it (the game) used, in fact I got all of them used.. and Even though I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, I was hooked and I had managed to get the other four games in under two years.. I get everything late, it seems. Better late than never, is what I say.

My brother was the one who discovered Miss Croft, actually. At that time, I think I was around 11 years old
can't remember exactly... but I do know that I was constantly looking at the game when my brother was playing it; it was such an exciting game! But my brother wouldn't let me play it, yet . But one year later, I finally had the opportunity to play TR1 (my brother was no longer interested in Lara can you believe that?) and from then on I got hooked to Lara . I almost immediately bought TR2 when it hit the shelves, and then TR3 and so on, 'till I had them all lol.

It was actually TR2 that influenced me. Because the first TR game I had was TR2 for PS and I loved it. Couldn't stop playing it. So I went to the shops again when I could finally leave my beloved TR2 without me for a few hours, lol, and I saw TR1 for PC so I brought it. I think I was 8 or 9 then.
