A friend of mine has bought FFXIII over in JAPS and he says it is like the FFX CGI moves, totally badass gorgeous!

I can't wait, I love Lightning's VO, she's a strong and powerful woman, is that her singing on the new English trailer - she's got an amazing voice!

The song in the English trailer is by Leona Lewis and is called "My Hands".

Honestly I was worried how the song would work with the trailer, having bought Leona Lewis' Echo beforehand already. But wow it worked pretty well, other than the first verse of the song. Like I get why the hate is happening but people are over reacting - especially the otakus.

Total Diva now though, didn't wanna sing on X Factor last series... explains why it was her weakest vocal, poor mite fame has shot to her head bless... or maybe it was that punch in the face,

Yeah I loves that song, it's amazing and powerful, was there any Jap song in the game @ all before this version... I've not been keeping track.

What is Versus Xiii is it still with Lightning and Snowy etc?

Listening to the XIII bashing is weird for me, everything people complain about seem totally fine to me. If you took things out of context from any FF it would sound terrible! Especially X, and that was an amazing game!

The battle system looks like something i can so jump into, tactical fast and difficult. The story i am already enjoying for the trailers and my knowledge of the characters and general setup, so unless something goes horribly wrong or something then i cant see myself not enjoying it.

Linearity is totally fine by me.

Yeah, some of the aspects they're describing such as more emphasis on story and cutscenes and somewhat linear areas is pretty much describing the Xenosaga series which I personally found to be one of the best and life changing RPG's of all time. Of course the problem is the FF series has established itself as having optional sidequests and to hear rumors that the majority of those have been eliminated is somewhat disheartening. But I'm very excited to see where the story goes in XIII. I tend to play RPG's for story purposes more anyway.

I think FFXIII looks pretty good and will buy it but I think White knight Chronicles looks better and might buy it first which mean I won´t buy FFXIII until the summer.
