The General "Next Gen Version" Speculation Thread!

I was sitting here last night, making my forum rounds, and I realized I had come across over 20 next gen specualtion threads in the last month. So, I have decided to open this, a general thread to specualte on whether or not we may be getting a next gen version of the game. It's very likely that we will get one, I believe, because of what tlr online posted on tombraiderchronicles.com in his Anniversary interview:

Whether or not that's just a hint or a tease is unknown as of today, which is why this is just a thread to specualte. However, that comment and Crystal Dynamics tendancy to dance around the subject rather than just say "no" leads me to believe we may be getting an Xbox 360 and/or PS3 version of the game. (Most likely Xbox 360...)

I'm sure it'll happen. If it does, I hope they release a PC next gen upgrade (not sure about that happening though).

There have been so many hints at a next gen version. I wish they would just announce one already. There's really no reason to keep it a secret (if it's in the works)...

They need to give us a straight answer, yes or no...

If a next-gen version comes out, I won't buy it. I've already got my TRA game. Otherwise, I'll sell my PS2 version and get an Xbox360 one. I am angry CD hasn't told us about this prior to the initial release. They can be so thick sometimes. But I forgive them for making an outstanding game

If they made me pay for a new PC version, I'd be so annoyed!

I'd love them to release it, but they can't charge PC user for it, it needs to be a free upgrade, or at the very least very cheap, and I mean like £5/$10.

The review has nothing to do with TR8, so that's out of the question of possibilites here. It says there's a "noticable absentee". My guess would be an Xbox 360 version. Watch this space hints that one may be in the words. All specualtion, of course...

TRA in next gen would look fantastic. Although im not sure PC players would be happy if they put it on PC and charged you for it.

I actually think it could be Xbox 1. Not the 360. That would comlete the current gen line-up for TRA
