Any good? I gots Gothika and Under Siege 2 to watch this evening... unfortunately Under Siege 2 is pretty diabolical so far. :( I'm hoping Gothika fairs better.

I really liked Gothika...a little strange, but it keeps you watching.

It's a good film, not amazing, but pretty good. It has it's scarey moments.
It's not as good as The Ring or The Grudge though.

I liked Gothika. It's a mainstream "horror" movie, kinda predictable and brings nothing especially new, but it's fun to watch nontheless. Personally I liked the madhouse atmosphere, you keep looking out for Kristina Boaz or some zombies to walk round the corner :D Also, the amount of blood and gore in the movie was satisfactory http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/thumb.gif

Just don't expect too much at the end. It's a nice movie though. I agree with Croft. The Ring was far better.

Never seen Gothika

I actually like Under Siege 2 in an escapist sort of way. It's enjoyable enough.

I got recommended The Ring by a friend and it was very good.

It's pretty good. Quite cold and blue though.
I agree the ring was the best. A little scary though!

Upon reflection, The Ring is a far better horror flick. Gothika was let down by the ending. You could see the sequel a mile off. :(

Still a great pic tho. http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

I'm thinking it had one of the decent and 'non-sequalized' endings that movies rarely have anymore.
i don't think there has been a word of gothika2 btw, but if there is one, they could do so much with the plot that it will be exciting to see it again on the big screen http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif

Denial is one thing I don't possess, thankyouverymuch.

Gothika was something new. Something fresh. I liked it very much. I see you dislike it very much. I'm going to see Saw soon, your, fave movie, and then comment on it http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/mischievous.gif

Heheh, can't wait for that one http://www.tombraiderforums.com/images/smilies/jumper.gif
