I have created a thread to show my appreciation towards the wonderful sixties comedy, directed by Mike Nichols and starring Dustin Hoffman, titled *drumroll* THE GRADUATE.

Benjamin Braddock is an extremely successful graduate who can't help but feel worried about where he is going in life and how his future is going to turn out. Living up to his rich parents' expectations all of his life, he is hoping to finally do something exciting out of his own will. But was jumping into bed with the wife of his father's best friend what was intended?

Mrs Robinson was forced into marrying her current husband because she got pregnant with their child. However, she is looking for a way of escaping from the real world, and chooses Benjamin as her way of doing so.

Elaine Robinson has just returned home from Berkeley, and is suddenly asked on a date by Benjamin Braddock. She accepts and falls in love with him, but when she finds out about the affair between Ben and her mother, things get difficult.

Mike Nichols is responsible for directing the brilliant film known as THE GRADUATE. Born on November 6th 1931, he got interested in films and directed his first motion picture WHO'S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF? in 1966. THE GRADUATE came the year after.

Finally, I've got an interesting idea for an anniversary edition of the greatest film of all time:
