Here's an old lateral puzzle.

1
11
21
1211
111221
312211
13112221
1113213211

1) What is next in the sequence?

2) What is the rule?

I'm sure most of you have seen this before. ;) :ton:

2) You are saying what you see the line before:

three 1s, one 3, one 2, one 1, one 3, one 2, two 1s

Ok try this one out:

Isn't It Dozen Not Dozens. Since it says the word contains 6 letters subtract 1.... Dozens is still a 6 letter word. Dozen is a five. :tea:

No I'm looking for the 6 letter word "dozens". The fact that you can subtract a letter and still get a "dozen" just helps you identify it. It doesn't change the word I'm aksing about.

"A word i know 6 letters it contains, subtract just 1 and 12 is what remains. what is it?"

- The question is what is the 6 letter word I know. The rest is just info about said word.

That'll teach you not to be a smart arse! :tea:

Lol though in all fairness my theory still makes sense and also adds more to the whole question, since it asks you to look deeper into the question. Has the same outcome just sounds smarter.

Hehe, thanks Dav:D! Well, someone else can put one up if they like, cos I don't have any puzzles today:o, but I do have
Kitchen Konundrum! (http://ougames.greencathedral.com/KitchenKonundrum):jmp:

It is a crazy anagram game from the Open University website, using fridge magnets! There is time pressure and it's quite difficult. I keep inventing new words that aren't allowed.:hea:
