Well, if the game got 90 percent in single player alone, that's definitely good enough for me, I don't see myself touching multiplayer for a long time.
EDIT: I also didn't have much hope in the multiplayer to begin with anyway, I just saw it as an added extra.

They did mention the multiplayer though, and they said that it was predictable but the inclusion of traps and the ability to use the environments against enemies added some imagination to it, but that was from a preview.

Ok guys, but isn't that the problem of the people that supposed to take care of the game before it's released? The fans and people that like games em TR style will probably buy or have bought the game already. They have to take care of it before the release day, not us.

I wouldn't mind getting the game before the release if I had the chance and I bet a lot of people here would like to be playing right now if they had the chance , we are fans!!!!

So if you see someone being mugged, you wouldn't bother to help because it's the police's 'job' and not ours? Fact of the matter is, this is likely the last chance that TR will have this generation to make a name for itself, and if it loses money because of rampant piracy, Square will likely not give the franchise another shot and we ALL lose in that scenario, so...

Except as far as we know the game has not leaked yet and piracy is not currently an issue. An achievement hunter getting a witch hunt against him over having played the game early, online no less, is ridiculous. His account wouldn't be around still if he was playing illegitimate copies of any of his games online, Tomb Raider included. Chances are that it is an early copy, be it for friends and family, or for review purposes.

Which is why reporting it to someone who'd know if it was a review copy is the best tactic rather than trying to go after the guy ourselves. If it was a reviewer, Square/CD would know and would just ignore it. If it was someone who obtained it illegally, then they're aware and can do something about it. I don't see why some of you are so against letting Square/CD know about potential theft of the game. :confused:

TBH, I doubt that there's much they can do. If it's leaked, it's leaked.

At the very least, they may be able to track down where the leak came from. I don't know. The fact that so many people are willing to just let it slide bugs me.

Why would Square Enix care about that anyways? Someone obtained a copy from somewhere and there is literally -no- way for them to track down whoever did that.

Games were always leaked and will always get leaked if the game companies don't produce the game discs in their basement. Some games get leaked a month before release (cough Resident Evil) but most of them like a week early.

I'd say "**** happens".

Also - it may very well be a legit copy. I got my Uncharted 3 copy over 10 days before official release.. lol

You can't compare these 2 things.
Leaking always happens, they have to manage ways to avoid it or to make the game hard to play with pirate copies.
And I believe that ppl that really want to buy it will, no matter if they did or did not played the pirate copie.
In some ways we've lost in this scenario when they decided giving exclusive stuff to one console and forgetting the others.

It's safe to say that we'll have spoilerish footage before the release, I'd say. It won't be allowed on here but still...it means we'll have to be careful if we don't want to see any spoilers.

Well it's official the Xbox version has leaked, but I couldn't care less. I am willing to wait until I can go to the store and buy it for PS3 or PC :).
