The island looks good in this. With that, I can't wait to see what TR has to offer, especially since CD keeps hyping it up...

CD hypes everything up. I think they (read: Karl) should just shut up and let the game speak for itself. If they actually have to make so much noise, its quite obvious that the game is not half as good as they claim. Plus, if they're going to reveal anything, better to make it small tidbits once in a while, than explode, shut up, and explode again.

Imo, they only want sales. They don't care about the franchise. Which is a shame cause this franchise was different from the others and the only thing they are doing is just making it a generic, mainstream one that blends with everything.

First of all, every company hypes up their new products. It's marketing, and I'm not even a marketing major. It's common sense. Do you really think CD is not going to promote the game at all? And of course they only want sales! That's the only thing companies want. Without sales they wouldn't be able to stay in business. I just think it's hilarious how you view CD practicing common business techniques as a gross, evil thing!

Well we shall see in the end if the game lives up to the hype. I am hopeful but I am also cautious after CD's previous efforts. However it is a new team behind this one and they made Guardian of the Light which was the closest we got to he classic Lara and gameplay from them but still fresh so hopefully this one will be a winner. :)
