But I must say, that non existing pocket was entirely too small for a camera that size to exist in. >.>

I'm pretty sure it's the walkie-talkie.
It's backwards and upside-down in that picture.
You could totally see the antenna behind the belt (bottom right).

It's the same one. There's no hidden mystery or plot here. It's the same walkie-talkie she finds in Sam's pack, but it's just flipped up from the position she's in, hence why it's upside down.
