I've been thinking about it too, I then realised it must have had something to do with the fact that the ancient inhabitants of Yamatai praised their Queen as a Godess.

Woah, this touched me a little. ..................don't laugh. But think about it, as much as we like the new Lara, we'll never ever see the old Lara (applies to Cores Lara and TRilogy Lara)

I agree with both. I feel rather emotional seeing that pic.

And @Valentino, I can't help but think about that too. Maybe we'll get a mix of both those Laras with this one.
