Judging by SE's last two games I played (Deus Ex & Sleeping Dogs), the pre-order DLC should be uploaded to PSN/XBL later for people to download. I just hope that like Deus Ex & Sleeping Dogs they are a decent price.

That game is amazing, it will never leave my collection again. I still need to buy all the DLC. ;___;

The CDC engine is gorgeous in that game. CD need to hand the engine over to more developers.

The graphics are beautiful. I like that instead of trying to be "realistic" they made it very stylized and artistic. The engine was used really well in that game, the detail in the environments & objects were amazing.

Honestly, it made me love CD's engine more. It's probably my favorite engine now thanks to how gorgeous TRU & Deus Ex were (and how gorgeous TReboot look).

It had some amazing lighting though. And the vistas from high up were always so amazing! It had its moments. Definitely a beautiful game. Underworld was beautiful too. I can't wait to see Tomb Raider on my glorious HD tv and see the improvements first hand from Underworld.

they are just unfair. thats it. the game industry is getting just worse. the whole dlc thing was one thing but those preorder ****exclusives are just work of the devil. you just cant win. youll miss out on too much. even if its something small. a real fan wants to be able to get everything. i dont care about comics or things like that but the whole ingame stuff....

Exactly. It looked nice, but it took about 2 minutes and all you do is walk/climb to the top of the temple and grab a sword. Woopty do. That's why I'm leaning more towards the Best Buy preorder. I would much prefer to have the comic book and a skin as apposed to a short simple tomb that offers little to no challenge or fun. But hey, it could be different with Tomb Raider, but considering its a side tomb, I'm thinking it probably won't be much different.

On topic, I think everybody in here considers the amount of different pre-orders incentives unnecessary and confusing, like SpyrosMonster said. Really, what's their goal in making a ton of different pre-order exclusives?

To lock in sales. If people see a pre-order that they like they're more likely to pre-order the game. AC3 was the first game I ever pre-ordered and I'm doing it for Tomb Raider too, so it's working. :p

Well, if they have the same offers for each retailer or none at all, people won't want to buy it from a certain place. I guess it's just an attempt to increase sales for each retailer.

I don't have a problem with them, as I don't care about having everything. I don't understand the multiple versions of the Collector's Edition, though. It's so confusing trying to figure out which regions are getting what. It doesn't help that GameStop doesn't list the score CD in the CE...

I don't see it that way. If they really wanted to please us they would have given out free DLC like Namco did for Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Namco of course is a much larger company but Square Enix isn't some poor one either but they just want money, which is good for them, and I would do the same any day if I were them but I just don't want to pay for anything more than the TRs I buy from them.

Then, about the pre-order stuff, they don't even seem intresting to begin with, and I don't want to pre-order a game from another continent or the UK which will take about 5 weeks to come (after release) while I could just go out and buy it.

As for the collector's editions while they seem intresting they are also overprised like hell and, again, not so intresting for my taste.

Well... You can pre-order the game at your local gamestop store without the need of getting online for.it.... It's only 5$ (55$ when you go and pick it up when released). Or is it that there are no gamestops in Greece?

I agree with LNSNHGTDS. The special editions aren't nothing special. Yeah, the map is nice, but I'm not paying £100 for a bloody map. The figure is awful, the iron thingies...well, no, thanks. The litograph...um, ok I can live without it. It's just nothing interesting. I'm buying just the standard version of the game.
