OK so I've extensively looked at the beta and final levels of Lost Library.. and TBH the differences and amount not present in the demo is astounding.

Really wracked my brain trying to ''rejigger'' everything about to work properly.
So I'm mixing the beta rooms with some 'final' ones, aswell as adding completely original new rooms too.
Quite a challenge, but I'm enjoying it so far - I just hope I can finish in time

NGLE is driving me crazy - it keeps crashing every 5 minutes. I press Hide Objects - and this stops the crash.. but there comes a time when I need to place an object or lights - or even worse, turn object back on so I can save without corrupting.
I unpressed the Hide button and did not move the mouse or press any buttons - editor crashed instantly.
Any tips on how to avoid this issue or is there nothing I can do?
If I mess with the compat modes, the editor disappears or rooms turn white - it seems I can't get anything to run smoothly which is a shame.
Something as simple as building a large room with objects becomes a massive challenge lol

Never heard of these crashes. Might be an idea to just re´nstall NGLE, or even update to TombEditor. Also make sure you have enough memory on your pc (this is an issue with my laptop sometimes).

@dcw123 Why don't you try Tomb Editor? Reading past posts of yours it would seem you're having constant issues with NGLE.

Not trying to push TE, but it might solve some of these stumble blocks and allow you to focus on building.

Thanks guys - yeh never used to have these issues with NGLE, I think its a recent build issue from what I heard.

I'll test Tomb Editor (even though I have no idea how it works)

Would it be fairly easy to copy everything over from my project I have now?
I don't really feel like having to redo the entire thing..

I am using some plugins for classic spikes etc, I take it these won't work with TE?

TE allows importing an existing NGLE prj. There might be some geometry issues here and there, so best to just double-check everything.

Plugins work, however plugin triggers won't show up in the trigger dialog. You'll need to use NGLE to export them to a TriggerGroup.

Ah, and I was wondering how to implement them. But yes, of course with triggergroups.

OMG why didn't I try this sooner.
Tomb Editor is such an easy program to use - and no crashes :3

I love how you can 'Draw Doors' for ALL rooms - which will make planning the level miles easier than before..
and the ability to switch rooms by clicking left click instead of having to trawl through room by room or using the room list.

Still trying to figure out how to tint/light objects and how things work but in terms of building the level - this is awesome!

I didn't start doing TRLE until I tried Tomb Editor because NGLE was too off-putting. I hope it helps spark things for you.
