Folks, don't make clowns of yourselves... Obviously on the wave of possible leak speculation some bastards will try to lure you to download malware and so on. Don't be stupid, you have fair chances to pay wayyy more than you would pay for legal TR in time... but for nothing.

Or you can just PM them to her yourself :p

She'll get annoyed if we start PM'ing her, we need to regroupe the sites and only one member sends them to her

Stupid question, but what other TR game is about the same length?

Based on a player in a review 10-15 hours to complete and up to 20 hours to explore the whole thing. This may vary from person but I would expect it to be the lenght of Tomb Raider Chronicles or Anniversary. :)

AoD could come pretty close.

Uhm, Didn't play any of the classics, the recent ones you can probably play through them twice and get 10-15 hours, Aside from anniversary.

Not really. I completed that within 3-6 hours.

Oh aha! Well that's the longest TR game so out of them all that's the closest ;)

Ivy Valentine 24-02-13 14:11

The Last Revelation?

Yeah I would say The Last Revelation is longer than AoD.

It is longer. Just realized lol. My bad.

Baratheon 24-02-13 14:17

The Angel of Darkness is pretty short (if not the shortest in the series). Seems long because Lara moves like a tank.

trfanX34 24-02-13 14:17

^ The shortest TR is obviously TRL :p

I don't think so, why would she get annoyed because of that? After all she's trying to sell the game :p

The best thing you can do is send her the links and let her decide what she does with them.

jajay119 24-02-13 14:17

Just cause its longer doesn't automatically mean good things. TR4 was incredibly dry after Alexandria in my opinion.

hayden 24-02-13 14:18

So basically it's about as long as TRLR, if not longer? :p

Legend is the shortest in the series.

From what has been said the reboot will more than likely be longer the The Last Revelation.

EscondeR 24-02-13 14:19

Well, it all depend on what perception that estimated time based on. If developers/game testers' then ~20 hours are fine. If first time player, then I'd say screw it.

Haha - this. I always remembered it as a pretty huge game, due to the huge number of levels, but it really can easily be finished in 10-13 hours.

Sabi96 24-02-13 14:22

I finished AOD in 5-6 hours. It's really short, but still my fav P:

Let's hope this one is really as long as they say it is

Why say screw it?

EscondeR 24-02-13 14:29

Because 20 hours only for the first honest playthrough sucks aplenty IMO.

Are you being serious? Most games last around 6 or 8.

How does it suck? If they are a first time TR player, then 20 hours actually makes it a really long game.

EscondeR 24-02-13 14:33

*facepalm*

Now I wanna know how you count that time.

On the other hand, don't tell, if you hold a printed walkie on your laps while playing it's you choice... IDC.

KamilM_93 24-02-13 14:41

I...need...game...now...10...days. So long :(

jajay119 24-02-13 14:45

20 hours is more than acceptable for me. I'd only expect more from fully open world titles.

Plus its quality over quantity, within reason, it may be as long as TR4 but if the latter half of this game is anything like Cairo in TR4 then I'd rather not play it.

ItIsOkBro 24-02-13 14:57

Honestly though, honestly? Only 5-10 hours to locate every optional Tomb, solve their puzzles, find all the collectibles and complete every mission? C'mon now that would mean the puzzles are easy as hell and everything can be found in plain sight.

This is not an open world game though, honestly around 20 hours is pretty good and like double the amount of gameplay the last three games gave us. Be a little happy about that maybe?

How long exactly to you want to spend looking for tombs and solving their puzzles? There's a fine line between a challenge and annoying. Considering Legend can be completed in about 6-7 hours on first play through, 5 hours for what are essentially extras seems pretty good.

just_love_her 24-02-13 15:04

I hope it's long as Anni. That's a good longevity for a TR game - not too short and not too long. I probably wont find everything on my first playthrough so if this game keeps me bussy for 2 weeks I'm happy.

20 hours to do everything? This shouldn't make anyone happy at all, in the most linear of linear games it takes more than that to collect things. TRL took me like 25 hours to do everything (find rewards, time trials).

TRL took me 8 hours to do everything. Its all down to ghe individual. What CD have said is an informed estimate probably based on a very small sample of averages its not dead on.

Tbh if trl took you 25 hours, I don't understand how that's even possible, then you have nothing to worry about.

if you really needed a whole day for the legend rewards youll probably need a week for the new one. trl was so damn easy. everything was easy. i cant believe you are saying that it took you 25h for the extra stuff

Tombraider Legend took you that long...?

Well, I'm guessing the reboot will take you longer tbh. Legend was bat**** easy!

God Horus 24-02-13 15:25

I'm sorry but what the hell is wrong with you people? So what if it took him 25 hours to finish TRL? Some people play at different speeds, I have NO idea why some people are being such ***** about it.
